Let's talk about Recruitment!

A note from our

2025 Recruitment chairs

Dear Potential New Members,

We are thrilled to introduce ourselves as your 2025 Recruitment Chairs! It is an honor to serve in this role, and we are beyond excited to share our chapter with you over the next few months. As Recruitment Chairs, our role is to organize workshops, educate our active members, act as a liaison between Panhellenic and our chapter, and most importantly, welcome each of you into a place that has had such a profound impact on our lives. As you begin to prepare for Recruitment, we hope that you get to experience the true heart of Chi Omega through our chapter. We understand that Recruitment can seem like a daunting and intimidating process, but we want you to know that Chi Omega loves you for who you truly are. Each member of our chapter brings something uniquely special to the table, and it is these differences that make our sisterhood so supportive and extraordinary.

College is a time of transition and growth, and Chi Omega is the place where you’ll find lifelong friends who will support you no matter what chapter of life you’re in. Whether you’re feeling nervous or excited, we hope that we can show you just how special this sisterhood is, and we want you to feel welcomed and supported every step of the way. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share with you why this chapter is so meaningful to us and what makes it truly unique. Chi Omega has blessed us in more ways than we can count, and we are forever thankful for the love and memories it has given us. We hope that you’ll see how Chi Omega has shaped our college experience, and we look forward to showing you how it can become a part of yours as well.

Chi Omega is an organization that emphasizes scholarship, leadership, and service, and we cannot wait to meet each of you and help you navigate this Recruitment process. We are so excited to get to know you all and to share the joy and blessings this chapter has brought us!

With love,

Mary Gaston, Mary Blue, and Sloan

Meet our

New Member Educators

Dear Potential New Members,

Welcome! We are already counting down the days here at Chi Omega until pledge class 2025 runs down the hill, and we could not be more excited! It feels like just yesterday when we went through Recruitment -- it was truly one of the greatest experiences! All 11 Panhellenic sororities here at Ole Miss are so unique, all offering different values, ideals, sisterhoods, and philanthropies. We encourage you to go into Recruitment with an open mind and enjoy the experience. The long week is so worth it in the end!

For those of you who do run to Chi O on Bid Day, we are so excited to spend lots of time with you in the Fall! As New Member Educators, our job is to guide new members in their transition to college and the Chi Omega experience. From dressing up for your first swap, laughing together at Sisterhood events, eating meals at the house, granting wishes for Make A Wish, and getting initiated into Chi Omega, we have so much to look forward to! We cannot wait for you all to experience all the joy that Chi Omega has to offer!

XOXO,

Sally Claire Stockett and Annabelle Lawson
